Superb line up for the 2010 Saturday evening concert confirmed!
The world renowned band, Lúnasa has been confirmed as the headline act for the 2010 festival. One of the most sought-after bands on the international Irish music scene Lúnasa has wowed audiences across the world from Ireland to Australia and now to Portglenone!
Líadan, an all female band from counties Galway and Limerick described by Hotpress Magazine as ‘wildly talented’ and as being ‘The next major global force in Irish traditional music’ are unique in that each member excels both instrumentally and vocally.
To complete this impressive line up we are delighted to welcome the Convoy Pipe Band from Co. Donegal who make the trip to Portglenone each year to compete in the Pipe Band Competition at the festival. They are delighted to be performing on our main concert stage at the 2010 festival.
Saturday 4th September 2010 is a date to mark in the diaries straightaway!!!
