Haste to the Wedding
Haste to the Wedding are a popular Ceilidh Band from Co.Antrim They play a mixture of Scottish and Irish traditional Dance music and have a real East Antrim sound. The band is driven by the accordion playing of Cullybackey man Leslie Craig, backed up by the fiddling of Jim McAuley, banjo of Gerry Rees. Behind this wall of music is Guitarist Peter Bouma and bodhran player and drummer Colin Urwin. Colin is also a fine singer. For dances the band Gerry doubles up as the bands caller, who has a wealth of dances from Ireland, Scotland and further afield.
