Séamus Mac Giolla Domhnaigh (Jimmy McEldowney) from Maghera is a well known and respected musician within the traditional music scene, being an accomplished fiddler, tin whistler, and guitarist. However over the past few years he has become more popularly known for his unique poems & recitations, capturing the attention of Fleadh-goers in snugs and shibeens all around the country with his comical compositions such as ThePlastic Fiver, Holiday Homes of Donegal, Jumpers made o’ Fluff and more recently The Ballad of Hudy McGuigan (the first man that ever flew) which settles for once and for all the age-old argument! Enough said!
