Séis

Séis' are a four piece band from Counties Armagh and Down who earned a well-deserved place on the main stage after their success at the Gig’n the Bann 2016 busking competition. They all perform on the local music scene and came together last summer as a support act to the Finnegan McSherry Project. The group comprises of Micheal Muckian (accordion), Aislinn Fegan (banjo), Alana Flynn (bodhrán) and Tiarnán Smyth (guitar). Individually they have won many prizes and the band recently won a busking competition in Downpatrick as well as the Mullahoran CCÉ prestigious Battle of the Bands competition for 2017. Their influences include Goitse, Beoga and Flook to name but a few. Their driving rhythm along with traditional tunes has earned them many plaudits at home and also internationally.
